Exhibition Booth for Forest Solutions
PROJECT
Forest Solutions Malaysia is a sustainable forest management company based in Sabah, Malaysia.
I was tasked with developing a booth as part of a physical campaign for an exhibition that would be on display during an educational sustainable forestry seminar, called Heart of Borneo.

"Compliance with world-class standard and practices."

TASK
The assignment necessitated the development of design elements and copy creation for five panels, requiring interdisciplinary collaboration spanning marketing, conservation, and compliance departments.
Central to the project was the Conservation Promise made by Forest Solutions, focusing on the protection and potential rehabilitation efforts for the endangered Banteng species.
UNDERSTANDING THE CHALLENGE
The content had to be scientifically accurate and comprehensive without being too technical. The target audience was a combination of leading industry players, investors, academics and also students.

Striking the ideal balance between articulating intricate manufacturing and conservation procedures, while ensuring readability and engagement, presented a notable challenge.

Brainstorming → Concept → Feedback → Refining → Final Product

RESULTS
The engagement and feedback on the final project were highly favorable. To cater to the students, an interactive activity resembling a color-by-number was introduced. Wild Banteng cutouts were displayed on the board, allowing participants to draw on them. The primary topics covered included compliance, conservation efforts, and the significant role of industrial tree plantations in conservation efforts.
